Supplemental Nutrition Program
The Riley County Women, Infants and Children program is now easier to access for eligible families. A new WIC Office opened on the IACH Ground Floor. Business hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The office is closed on Friday. To schedule an appointment , call (785) 240-7019.
Cover Story in Construction Journal
The hospital was the cover story in the June 2017 Medical Construction & Design journal. The story highlights how the hospital sets a new standard in care experience balancing openness and security. It notes that IACH is a DoD “statement facility”; demonstrating the commitment of the Nation and representatives to those who serve and their families.

Easing the Healthcare Transition
The 1st Encounter Clinic assists Soldiers and families with enrollment, PCM assignment, health assessment forms, specialty referrals transfer, benefits review, hospital navigation and more.
Plus, get a biography with photo handout of your new PCM. Call (785) 239-DOCS to schedule an appointment. The clinic is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm., and located on the 1st floor of the hospital across from the pharmacy.
Notice to Parents
Proof of eligibility of a minor aged 10 or older is required for medical care services at Irwin Army Community Hospital. If proof of eligibility is not provided within 30 days of service date, the patient will be billed as a non-beneficiary. A valid ID card and enrollment in DEERS will establish beneficiary status of a minor. Parents can obtain an ID card from the Fort Riley ID Card Center, 212 Custer Ave. on Main Post, in the west wing of the basement, Room B01. Schedule an appointment online or call (785) 239-3654 for assistance.
