Ministry & pastoral care

 

The mission of the Irwin Army Community Hospital Department of Ministry and Pastoral care is to offer spiritual support to patients, their families and hospital staff. This ministry is manifested most clearly in times of crisis.

 

The chaplain is committed to respect the dignity and faith tradition of each individual. They base their pastoral care ministry on an inclusive basis, open to persons of all faiths or no faith. The chaplain also facilitates communication between patients and their faith communities, provides worship opportunities, and counseling.

  Chapel

 

   Hours:     The Chapel is open for prayer, meditation and

                    reflection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

   Location:

                   First Floor, Adjacent to the Emergency

                   Department. Park in parking garage, upper

              levels for quick access.
