Sponsorship Program
Request a sponsor: If you would like to request a sponsor, complete the DA Form 5434 Sponsorship Request From and email to fort.riley.sponsorship.request@us.army.mil. if you are unable to email the form, please fax it to (785) 239-7089. Your request will be forwarded to your gaining unit and a sponsor will be assigned to assist you.

Programs for Redeploying Soldiers
These are applicable for all Soldiers regardless of Component and are available to those either returning from individual augmentation or as part of a unit.

Stabilization
At least ninety days stabilization at home station. Then, upon reassignment, HRC tries not to post the Soldier to another immediately deploying unit.

Deployment Cycle Support (DCS)
In-theater and home station phases; large program with many installation and support agencies involved (medical; chaplain; family services; mental health; garrison; etc.). Legal Services, Family Readjustment and Counseling, and Mental Health all provided.

Community Support
Varies locally, but parades, discounts, and services are commonplace. (Likewise with many national merchandise discount offers--from automobiles to vacations.) Reception and Welcome Home Observances, Award Ceremonies, Combat Patch Recognition, and Appreciation Days are the norm.

Block Leave and Time Off - (MS Word Document)
Local commander's discretion, but most units use. Individual leave granted, often UP the Leave Accrual Program. ARNG Soldiers do not drill for 60 days, and do not have AT.

Disabled Soldiers Support System (DS3)
For special category and severely disabled Soldiers to re-integrate into the community and workplace.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Program
is being pushed by NGB down to company-level.

Army One Source (AOS)
is an information and referral service for all Components and DA Civilians, regardless of installation or location.
