Nutrition Health classes
The Nutrition Care Division (NCD) is responsible for the provision of comprehensive nutritional services in support of the patient care mission of the MEDDAC/DENTAC. The full age spectrum is served in this department. Our services include (but are not limited to) inpatient and outpatient dietary consultations, outpatient classes on heart health, weight loss, diabetes, prenatal, and infant nutrition. The following are some of the classes offered by Nutrition Care Division.
  • Family Member Weight Control
  • Army Move! Program (Active Duty Weight Control)
  • Heart Healthy Low Fat/Cholesterol, Low Sodium
  • Walkin Weight Check Clinic - every Friday 0800-1000 except holidays & Training Holidays for patients and IACH staff
  • Prenatal Nutrition Class
  • Individual Nutrition Consultation - For conditions not covered in above classes
  • Diabetes Nutrition Class
Those interested in weight control management can call directly to the Nutrition Care Division at 239-7644 to schedule appointments.

*Note: Some classes require a consultation before attending. Contact the NCD office at (785) 239-7644.
