The Warrior and Family Recovery Center (TBI) provide a team approach centered on you, in which you hold the key to your success. We teach Traumatic Brain Injury (Brain Injury/Concussion) patients lifelong skills through interdisciplinary treatment and encouragement in order to foster our patients’ ability to better manage their own symptoms and improve their quality of life. The WFRC/TBI clinic has the staffing, services and technology to help you live life to the fullest.

  • Balance and functional activity assessments
  • Battlefield acupuncture for chronic pain
  • Biofeedback stress profiles
  • Case management
  • Cognitive communicative therapy
  • Dizziness/vertigo treatment
  • Dysphagia intervention
  • Headache/migraine treatment
  • Sleep disorder intervention and follow-up care
  • Neuropsychological evaluation
  • Memory therapy
  • Musculoskeletal therapy
  • Psychotherapy
  • Vestibular rehabilitation therapy
  • Vision therapy

 

Who Can Be Referred Here

 

  • Active Duty (military spouses, adult dependents and retirees on a space available basis)
  • Speech Language Pathology is available for referrals for all Active Duty, Family members and Retirees.
  • Coming soon! Interdisciplinary Pediatric Feedings and Swallowing

 

Referral Process

Providers may refer Patients for TBI care by selecting “TBI Family Practice” in order for them to be screened by the PA and consulted to other disciplines as necessary.

 

Providers may refer Patients for Speech Language Pathology services by selecting “TBI Speech” to consult directly to the Speech Language Pathologist.
